On Arts Block

How to print words on cloth?

I want to print words on cloth. How do I do this? And what kind of paint do I use? If I use normal paint on art block paint, I'll get a 3Ded word that will crack in time and can be washed off. If I use marker pens, the ink will smudge after a time. I need paint that won't smudge, can draw thin lines and won't wash off no matter what, even if I used Bleach.

Is the textile paint like that? I don't want to buy something only to find that it's not what I need. I need something that will be like writing with a normal pen on paper. And the printing can't be felt when on the cloth. Like it has to be part of the cloth. Can someone show me a clear example of how textile paint pens will look and feel like on cloth?

Thanks

Even permanent markers wash out in the laundry. Check the fabric stores for a laundry marker. By now they may make all colors...

Joann Fabrics has special printer paper. You can use your computer to print words or designs. It peels apart to become an iron on decal. The high school band is going to use it to make huge letters for a banner.
